We have our lighthouse, our pioneer cemeteries, our asylums.
Are there any Legends our Hauntings specific to Michigan? I'm been trying to track down some, and I tell you, there are some poorly designed sites that haven't been updated in years discussing very general stories.
When you want to really delve into a Michigan Ghost Story or Urban Legend, what's your best source?

I know this thread is pretty old now, but I thought I'd add that the "Ghosts of America" website seems to have replaced "Shadowlands" (which I've always enjoyed) in the last few years. Similar layout, organized by states and then localities, but with a focus on firsthand experiences, which are still being updated. We stayed in two haunted hotels during our honeymoon and it was cool to go back and look at other guests' recent encounters and compare them to ours. Of course, just like any similar website, there's a fair amount of codswallop to wade through, but there are also some genuinely hair-raising gems from people who just want to tell their unique stories. www.ghostsofamerica.com/

Yessir! Every few months, I'll get lost for an hour or two exploring posts from the areas around where I live.

Codswallop is my new favorite word.

It's one of mine, too. Right up there with "mollycoddle".
